    | fspltn_1.zip - | | files (of size defined by the user). This utility can then be used to
combine these small files into the orignal file (presumably at
destination). If you copy large files to floppies often, you might have
noticed that the utility you use, crams the floppies to the full with
data, leaving no room in the floppy (at all) to handle bad sectors.
Using this utility, you define the partition size yourself. Also a
great utility if you need to send a large file over the Net. Split the
file, send partitio... |

   | filepk21.zip - | | didn't. QuickView is way too slow, balks at formats it doesn't know,
and truncates text at the first binary data. FilePeek will view the
text in any file, no matter what kind of file it is, and very quickly.
FilePeek converts non-displayable characters to a dot ( . ) and
therefore, doesn't allow binary characters to truncate its view. It is
a 'view only' program, so you don't have to worry about accidentally
modifying files you're viewing with it.
FilePeek also has a hex view mode, if you need ... |

   | uddu.zip - | | information in text files. Windows 9x and NT use a carriage
return/linefeed pair (CR/LF), whilst Unix only uses the LF character.
Dos2unix.exe and unix2dos.exe are small Win32 console-mode file
conversion utilities. Dos2unix.exe converts Windows text files to Unix
format, by stripping any CR or end-of-file (Ctrl-Z) characters from the
data. Unix2dos.exe inserts a CR character when it encounters an LF
character, converting the data to Windows format.
Special requirements: Windows 95/98/NT.

  | setdt11.zip - | | file. You can change all three dates (last write, creation and last
access).
SetDate installs itself as a Windows 95/98/NT shell extension and adds
'Set date' to all file context menus. This means that whenever you
right-click on a file or folder, an option 'Set date' will be available
in the context menu. Whenever you right-click on a folder, the option
'Set date' will let you set the date of all files in this folder to the
same value. You can choose to include subfolders or not.

   | cabvie11.zip - | | that you'll find on the Win95 CD and floppies (these are files containing
one or more compressed files)? With the CABFILE Viewer shell extension,
you can browse right into a CAB file and see all of its contents, and
perform normal shell operations on the files inside, but Microsoft forgot
one little thing: they made the cab-file open in a normal folder-window,
while it's far more convenient to view it in a 2-paned Windows
Explorer-window . Double-clicking cabview.reg will give you the
